If your baby has difficulty latching, baby won’t stay latched or appears to be uncomfortable during breastfeeding due to pain or restricted movement in the neck or shoulder then chiropractic may be able to help. A muscle or joint problem is more likely to be contributing to a breastfeeding problem if your baby consistently feeds poorly on only one breast, despite good milk flow and normal nipple function.
Careful assessment of your baby’s body posture, neck flexibility, muscles, ligaments, vertebra motion and shoulders can help determine the likelihood of a musculoskeletal cause behind your infants’ feeding problem and the suitability of Chiropractic care.
