About Lisa Mathers, CPSP

Experience and Education

Lisa Mathers has been a practising Speech Pathologist since 2004, working with children between the ages of 2 and 18 in a variety of settings. After training at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England, she was employed by the National Health Service in the UK, working with children in nurseries, schools, special schools and in the community. She moved to Adelaide with her Australian husband in 2008 where she began working in private practice. Lisa is also part of a small group of Speech Pathologists in Adelaide who are Lidcombe Program Trained (Management of preschool stuttering). She is a mother of two who enjoys going for walks and bike rides with her family.

About Alison Peterson, CPSP

  • Alison has over 15 years experience working with preschoolers in community and hospital settings
  • She loves working with young children (0-4 years) who are experiencing feeding or communication difficulties and their families
  • She is also passionate about a working with children with multiple and complex needs, including those with disabilities, global developmental delay, Autism and Down syndrome
  • She enjoys helping children grown and learn through play and fun!
  • Outside of work, Alison is a busy mum to 3 young children. Coffee is her friend!

Experience and Education

Alison has been practicing Speech Pathology since 2004 after graduating from Flinders University here in Adelaide. She has worked in community, hospital and private therapy settings with preschool aged children. Alison specialises in paediatric communication and feeding difficulties, including ‘fussy eaters’ and those with disabilities.

About Lucy Leane, CPSP

  • Lucy enjoys working with families and other professionals to gather a complete picture of the child’s strengths and difficulties, and help the child to learn and communicate effectively in their world
  • Lucy has particular interests in early language development, speech sound disorders, autism, and other disabilities
  • She aims to make sessions fun and engaging for children, and provide follow up strategies and activities that are easily implemented in the home or school environment
  • Her favourite aspect of being a speech pathologist is forming positive relationships with children and their caregivers, and celebrating both the big and small successes with them along the way

Experience and Education

Lucy has been practicing Speech Pathology since 2004 after graduating from the University of Queensland, Brisbane. She has worked in hospitals, state and private schools and disability services across rural and metropolitan areas of Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, as both a sole therapist and in multi-disciplinary teams. Her varied employment history has allowed her to gain knowledge and therapeutic skills required for many areas of paediatric speech pathology, and general child development. Outside of work, Lucy likes to spend time with her two children, mountain biking, hiking, going to the beach, and being creative.
